Privacy Policy for FRE POS
This Privacy Policy describes how FRE POS (“we”, “us”, or “our”), developed and operated by DIZE TECH IT SOLUTION (“Company”, “we”, “us”), collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the FRE POS mobile and desktop applications (the “App” or “Service”).
By downloading, installing, or using FRE POS, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
FRE POS is built with an offline-first architecture: Your business data, catalog, sales, and customer information are stored locally on your device by default.
1. Information We Collect
A. Business and Store Information
When you set up your store in the App, you may enter business-related details, including:
- Business / Store Name
- Store Address, Email Address, and Phone Number
- Tax Identification / GSTIN numbers
- Business UPI ID (used solely to generate customer payment QR codes)
- Receipt terms and customized greetings
B. Inventory and Product Data
Information entered to manage your retail/wholesale store:
- Product names, prices (MRP, selling price, cost price), units, categories, and stock counts
- Barcode and QR code identifiers
- Product images selected from your device
C. Transaction and Billing Records
- Sales receipts, invoice numbers, billing dates, item quantities, and discount rates
- Payment methods (Cash, UPI, Card, etc.)
- Purchase records, vendor details, and return orders (sales returns and purchase returns)
D. Customer and Vendor Contact Information
Names, phone numbers, email addresses, and physical addresses of customers and vendors you optionally choose to record for billing and bookkeeping purposes.
2. Device Permissions and Why We Need Them
To deliver core point-of-sale functionality, FRE POS requests the following device permissions:

| Camera | Used exclusively for scanning product barcodes and QR codes during checkout, inventory search, and stock updates. No camera images or video feeds are recorded or transmitted without your explicit action. |
| Photos / Storage / Files | Used solely to allow you to select product photos from your gallery and to export or import offline data backups (JSON or database files). |
| Audio / Sound | Used to play notification beeps upon successful barcode scans. |
| Network / Internet | Used for optional cloud synchronization, checking updates, and launching support emails or website links. |
| Wakelock (Keep Screen On) | Used to keep the POS terminal display awake during active billing sessions to avoid screen timeouts while attending to customers. |
3. Data Ownership and Storage
A. Offline-First Architecture
FRE POS is designed with an offline-first architecture. All your business catalogs, customers, vendors, invoices, and stock data are saved directly to your device’s local SQLite database.
B. Cloud Services & Sync
If you enable cloud synchronization or backup services (powered by Google Firebase / Firestore):
- Data is transmitted securely via industry-standard SSL/TLS encryption.
- Your store records remain strictly yours; we do not share or sell your inventory, customer lists, or transaction figures to any third parties, advertisers, or competitors.
4. Third-Party Services
The App may integrate third-party software development kits (SDKs) to facilitate essential services:
- Google Firebase (Firebase Core, Cloud Firestore): Database persistence and authentication infrastructure (Firebase Privacy Policy).
- Google Play Services: Application deployment and integrity (Google Privacy Policy).
We do not use third-party behavioral advertising networks or trackers.
5. Payments & Financial Transactions
FRE POS provides QR code generation for payments (via UPI). FRE POS is not a payment gateway or payment aggregator. Payments initiated via QR codes are processed directly between your customer’s payment app and your designated bank/UPI ID. FRE POS does not hold, access, or store your bank credentials or customer credit/debit card numbers.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
You retain full ownership and control over your data:
- In-App Data Management: You can edit, adjust, or delete products, bills, vendors, and customers directly from the App at any time.
- Complete Data Erasure: The App includes a Delete Data / Reset option under Settings that allows you to permanently erase all locally stored store records, transactions, and categories.
- Uninstalling the App: Uninstalling FRE POS immediately deletes all local database tables and cached files from your device.
7. Security of Your Information
The security of your business records is important to us. We implement appropriate physical, technical, and managerial safeguards to protect your data stored locally and in transit. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we encourage you to maintain regular offline backups using the App’s built-in export features.
8. Children’s Privacy
FRE POS is a point-of-sale business utility intended for merchants and business owners. It is not directed to individuals under the age of 13 (or 16 depending on jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect new features or legal requirements. When updates occur, the updated policy will be posted within the application and the “Effective Date” at the top will be updated. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
